Lesnovo Airport is situated on the land of Lesnovo village, 25 km / 11 NM/ away from the city of Sofia and Sofia airport.
In 2006 the Ministry of Transport and Communications issued Certificate No.02/20.03.2006 of operational fitness of Lesnovo Airport. According to the above-mentioned Certificate, the airport meets the requirements of the statutory regulations and is fit for operation by aircrafts code C of the classification under Regulation No.14.
The airport may be used by aircraft with weights of up to 5700 kg and 19 seats in the light part of the day only with visibility allowing for visual landings.
