The airport may be used by aircraft with weight of up to 5700 kg and 19 seats in the light part of the day only with visibility allowing for visual landings. The runway is 1164 m long and 25 m wide.

The runway is covered by asphalt. At the aerodrome there is an apron with asphalt coating for 15 passenger aircraft, and next to it – a hangar measuring 50 x 20 meters (two doors, each with a door height 3.2 m, width – 17 m) storage of 6 light aircraft and another hangar measuring 40 x 15 m (door height 3.5 meters, width – 20 meters) for storage of 6 light aircrafts connected to the platform via a taxiway. We also have a platform of 80 meters long and 85 meters wide. There is a 20-acre stand and a 25 x 25 meters hangar (door height 5.5 meters, width – 18 meters) with a rotating floor construction (carousel) for storing 6 light aircrafts and a hangar measuring 18 x 25 m, designed to store 4-5 light aircraft.

Lesnovo Airport is a general aviation airport and does not provide customs, immigration, or border control services.

Flights arriving from or departing to countries outside the Schengen Area must complete border and customs formalities at one of Bulgaria’s designated international airports (Sofia, Plovdiv, Burgas, Gorna Oryahovitsa, or Varna) before proceeding to or from Lesnovo Airport.
